Severed time

As I sit here, fairly tired, wondering what to do, I realize something. I try to think back to days not that distant, and recall details, and not all that much comes to me. It's as though each day has a small crack in it, and the further I try to reach back, the more my line of thought dissapates. Ultimately, one day becomes just the same as the rest. Yesterday was like today. Today will be like tomorrow. Each is a distinct packet, but they are all alike.

Strange. I used to be able to remember plenty of different things. But these days most of my memory is vanilla, heavily faded at best.
