Yesterday I had a headache, today.. hmm, my head still burns a little, but I guess I'm feeling ok.
I spoke with Missy online Monday, she said she was looking forward to the weekend, which made me sorta feel like I should go both days. The gaming night is Saturday, that starts at 4pm, the Magic night is Sunday at 6pm. Driving 100+ miles for twelve days straight doesn't exactly tickle my toes, but on the other hand, I'll be able to absorb some new chi, so I guess it will be worth it.
Last Friday I picked up Gran Turismo 4. So far, I have to admit that I am relatively underwhelmed. While it's true that Polyphony has created an excellent graphics engine and paired it with an excellent physics engine, that's pretty much old news as far as GT afficionados are concerned. Where GT used to shine was in it's game progression and musical selection, and I use the term "used to" to imply that it no longer sees such apparent trivialities as important concerns. Indeed, as the graphics and selection of cars have improved, by the same amount the UI and music have regressed.
