The stay was nice. The trip was somewhat frustrating, but I guess that's why I don't drive with my parents very often.
I brought down Guitar Hero and Geoff seemed to like it a lot. Liz played a little. I played some and so did Maggie. Also, a couple of Geoff's brothers came over for Thanksgiving and they played it a bit.
We went to Maggiano's at the King of Prussia mall the day after Thanksgiving, and I'm told it is the largest mall in either the country or the world as far as shopping space goes (the one with the theme park inside is larger, but obviously the rides and such don't count as "shopping" in this particular "statistic".) There were about 11 people and we had a "family dining" menu, which meant we chose two appetisers, two pastas, two entrees, and then two desserts. There were probably about two plates each of each selection, so it was a hell of a lot of food. It was all good, though I was quite full by the end of the meal.
Then we went and saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I hadn't read the book, so I don't know how much they added and subtracted, but the movie was good.
This Monday I start my new 10-6 shift. I'm a little worried about getting up that early in the morning, simply because I haven't really prepared myself, but I guess if it comes down to it I'll just have to work through it. Coming home early enough to hit stores if necessary will be rather nice, though.
